My name is Nikhil Parikh and I am a third year UCLA student studying Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics of Computation. I was born and raised in Alameda, California. I have been passionate about engineering and design since I was young and continue to strive towards solving problems and learning from my mistakes. This originally started as it often does as taking apart all my electronic toys and trying (often failing) to put them back together. In middle school I then got a hand-me-down RC car that I would drive, break and modify and built my first drone. In high school I then continued to learn with the design of a drone frame and doing competitive robotics (FRC).

Previously I have done work for R&D, 3D Printing and Software at Magnetic Insight. Currently I am working on a mix of software and mechanical engineering on a span of projects at UCLA’s RoMeLa lab and Bruin Formula Racing. I also am the documentation maintainer for ExpressLRS.

Feel free to contact me about anything from jobs or just interesting engineering questions!
