RITEC Inc. is a leading company in ruggedized computing, secure switching/routing, and specialized printers. Founded in 1997, it is based in Simi Valley and has an agile philosophy in an industry that thrives on stability. Its pursuit of quality and innovation has led to partnerships with many large companies in the Aerospace and Defense industries.

During my time at the company in the summer of 2024, I primarily worked on a large-scale web-handling printer system. This included designing jigs to improve the alignment of printheads, as well as a complete design of the pneumatic system and its electronic interfaces. This had to be designed to complex safety standards which was achieved in hardware for maximal compliance. I also designed multiple wire harnesses for the bring-up and quality validation of a new product for a large commercial aerospace firm.
